Weekly Report – Friday 14th October

The tournament season has now officially started for West London Ping, with many of the RBKC schools in action at the Chelsea Academy on Monday evening.

Also we have now completed the WLP ranking lists for the period up to January. There may well be some names we have inadvertently omitted and some names we have included that are no longer applicable. Please do let us know if you would like to see some additions or amendments. The rankings for many of the players listed can only be an approximation, so do not feel too annoyed if you feel you have been under-valued. Just come along to any of the Friday evening Chelsea Academy community sessions and state your case on the table. We will revise the ranking list every month.

Entries are now starting to come in for the English Schools Central London Qualification tournaments, so if you wish your school to enter and they have not already done so, please let me know and I will chase them up. Entries close on the 1st November.

Finally a reminder that Chelsea Academy will be closed on Friday 28th October because of half term so there will be no community session on that day. We are open as usual on the 21st of October and then resume on the 4th of November.
