End of an Era at Chelsea Academy

Jon Kaufmann – 17th September 2016West London Ping got off to a blistering start to the new season, when over 40 players turned up for the first community session at the Chelsea Academy.
Harry Derecki took the honours in the regular Top Table competition, while his brother Charlie was the last player standing in the ’round the table’ finale
West London Ping received official recognition for its work last season when it was nominated in three separate categories by the RBKC/Epic in their annual awards evening. Nadia, Valentina and Rose were nominated for the most improved team category Jacques Vander was nominated for the Sporting Spirit category and table tennis was also nominated in the best team manager section.
However, the real winner of the night was Epic Sports themselves, who put on a most professional and enjoyable presentation, one that gave both recognition and encouragement to all those nominated.
